After many years of development, Sy-Klone is pleased to announce the introduction of brushless motors for their 12v and

24v RESPA and XLR Systems.

 

The brushless motors offer the following benefits:

1. Longer motor life
2. Warranty is extended to 3 years from date of purchase regardless of run time hours
3. The motor is protected against over voltage by an integrated over-voltage circuit
4. Superior performance in extreme environments typical of mines in the arctic circle (extreme cold and dust)

The motors are sold integrated in the motor housing as a motor section replacement kit or they can be purchased with a new RESPA.

 

While the cost of the brushless motor are reasonably higher than the standard brushed motor, however, the benefits are quickly realized in productivity gains and lower maintenance cost. In extreme environments the brushless motor is recommended best practice.
